At Matrix Providers You come first Always Your success is the focus of our entire business We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Ophthalmology Technician to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center WRNMMC Benefits: Status: Full Time Schedule: Monday ndash; Friday 7:00am ndash; 3:30pm Excellent financial package designed to attract compassionate top performers Comprehensive benefits package to include major medical dental vision and 401k The Ophthalmology Technician must have the following qualifications: Degree: Certificate Education: Complete an ophthalmology technician or an optometric technician course Certifications: Possess and maintain current certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant COA or Certified Ophthalmic Technician COT or Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist COMPT by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology or completed a formal ophthalmic training program of the United States Armed Forces Experience: One year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician Technologist after graduation Licensure Registration: Laser maintenance and environmental control Laser Supply and Equipment management Database analysis Warfighter Prioritization and Personnel management Core Duties: Provide a wide variety of duties to assist the optometrist ophthalmologist as appropriate to the level of certification i e COA COT or COMPT Obtain patient histories perform prescription verification and maintain patient records Assist in testing patient vision Test far and near acuity peripheral vision depth perception and color perception Examine the eye using slit lamp for abnormalities of cornea and anterior and posterior chambers Apply drops to anesthetize dilate or medicate eyes Measure intraocular pressure of eyes glaucoma test Test field of vision including central and peripheral vision for defects and chart test results on graph paper Measure axial length of eye using ultrasound equipment Instruct patients concerning eye care and contact lens handling You will love being part of the Matrix family of Providers whose focus since day one has been selflessly giving back to our hard working and devoted military servicemen and women Matrix Providers is a proud veteran owned company and military family supporter who has been a staunch ally of our active duty and veteran service providers for the past 8 years

The Radiation Therapy Technologist must have the following qualifications: Experience: Have a minimum of 24 months of experience within the last 48 months in clinical radiotherapy under the supervision of either a board certified radiation oncologist or a radiotherapy physicist Degree Education: Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology JRCERT Certification: Basic Life Support certification Current registration as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT You will love being part of the Matrix family of Providers whose focus since day one has been selflessly giving back to our hard working and devoted military servicemen and women Matrix Providers is a proud veteran owned company and military family supporter who has been a staunch ally of our active duty and veteran service providers for the past 8 years
